Am I the only person who thinks that 24 years of the same two familys in the White House is a problem?

Welcome to OpenDissent.com, the home of the OpenDissent pod cast. Below we have painstakingly reconstructed a possible conversation with an actual internet browser.

So Jim, what is the OpenDissent podcast?

Well my friend, The OpenDissent podcast in a new podcast started by two guys, with nothing better to do. Honestly, we have no grand delusion about our podcast. We are not trying to make some great statement about media in America, we are not trying to represent the voice of those not heard, we are not (fill in counter culture cliche here), and we are definitely not (something we are definitely not).

Sounds great Jim, what can I expect to hear on your podcast?

Honestly, I don't think you can expect anything save two guys rambling on about what ever we decided is important this week. In general, it will be mostly political, but not always. Really, in general, it will be on what ever we pick up on in the news this week.

But Jim, what if I don't like your views?

Well my internet surfing friend, that is the beauty of it. I don't care and there isn't anything you can do about it, save send us horrible horrible listener mail. But in the fine tradition of the internet, we are just going to take your mail and turn it into an entertaining segment of our show for those listeners who do like our show.

Well that isn't very nice of you.

To bad.

Ok, so how often can I expect you to be putting out new shows?

You can't. Our goal is ounce a week, but you know what ever. That is the beauty of not being paid to do this, no one can NOT pay us if we don't produce on time.
